Wiring question

Post by rickscrewcab »

I just mounted my new fog lites, now it's time to wire them up. My question is "where is the best place to run three wires thru my firewall, without having to dismantle half my dash"? I'm 50 yrs old now, and don't quite bend or fit into places like I used to. Thanks

for fog lights, you could make it so you only have to run 1 wire through the dash, wire your fog lights in parallel, and rob power for them under the hood, then just run your ground wire to a switch in the truck.

or you could (and probably should) be running them on a relay. Two small gauge wires under the dash, heavier under the hood
