Stock radio wiring

Post by GAS »

First of all I want to say Merry Christmas to everybody! :)
Since we have Christmas two weeks later dawn here, I began “radio change operation” couple days ago. I took off my stock radio unit, but aftermarket one has different wiring. So I’m confused now – I got too many wires coming in and Haynes colors didn’t match at all. http://public.fotki.com/september75/tec ... 10115.html
Stock radio has two pin connectors coming in – white and black and pins are numbered. Could anybody tell my where can I get these pin numbers info? I desperately need my truck to go for the Christmas tree but it has half of its dash disassembled.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I have 2000 Ext. cab. http://public.fotki.com/september75/a7/dsc00943.html
For now connection problems are already solved, but I faced sizing problems with my aftermarket 2 DIN radio unit cause it got a little different opening sizes then the stock one. I guess its need to cut dash a little bit (what I don’t really want to). Who designed so un-standard stock radio??? :!:

Now I have a hole in the dash and a lot of things to think of. :?:
P.S. I believe this site didn’t work yesterday, did it?
