BCM wire diagram

Post by Guitar831 »

Does anyone have a diagram of the BCM connectors? I need to know what each wire on all three connectors Brown, Light Blue, & Purple are connected to and whether they are - negative (ground) or + positive (hot). Some wires are neutral and become either hot or ground when a switch is activated ie: ignition/starter, horn, window/door lock & unlock, dome light, headlight, or wiper switch.

1998-2003 pickups BCMs are all the same Chevy and GMC reg., ext., & crew cabs

The BCM controls quite a bit and is complex. There are some differences in the Envoy BCM, so that is one to avoid.
The schematics for the BCM in the manual is fifteen pages alone add to that three pages on the connectors.
There is no simple listing of the polarity or voltages.

If you are going in this deep a factory manual would be a great asset. They are available from Helm Inc. and sometimes show up on Ebay. They are a very good investment.
