How to diasarm panic button?

Post by fallvitals »

I searched, couldn't find an answer. How do you disarm the panic button/alarm, so if you accidently press the panic button on the FOB you dont look like a jack ass?

Well, I refrained from telling you to stop carrying the key fob.

I am assuming from the lack of good answers, its something that can't be turned off?

Your could disassemble the remote and put tape on the contact.

Dot of super glue at each end of the button, if you really need it you can push it, if you don't need it you won't accidently push it. I never had a problem with my 2002 Crew Cab button but my 2004 Tahoe button sticks out more and I was setting it off all the time.
