Main Wiring Harness Questions

Post by TexasBlaZeR2 »

Can someone please tell me what years use what main wiring harnesses. Basically, I need to find out what main wiring harnesses were used in rigs with the extra power plugs and what harnesses were used in those without the plugs.

If they are the same, then the plug should still be there someone for me to plug into.

Thanks,

My 2000 Blazer didn't have the 2 accessory plugs fromt he dealer, but HJ found me one and sent it to me (BTW HJ - I paid for it tonight :-)

I located the correct plug in the trucks wiring harness - it was behind the glovebox area - everything works fine, and connected like it was factory.

03-and 04 got shafted in a number of ways this is just one of them. I need the extra plugs also and have very limited opportunities up here to find one.

You said you found the extra plug in your harness behind the glove box. Now you just need parts. I posted up the link to an auction for you in your other thread. Here it is again:

Trim with extra plugs on eBay

That would be so awesome if this whole thing is plug and play. I just can't seem to find the darn plug in my 2005 Blazer harness.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the harnesses for different years?
