looks like the right size but you would need to get it off the rest of the assembly

Reed, just my humble advice here, but I don't think they'd be worth the asking price. A cheap set of sony's from wallyworld will do ya better :)

It is a moot point now. The auction is over but, I do appreciate all the advice.

Bose is a good brand. Just overpriced when bought new :) And as top suggested, alot of bose factory systems have amps driving each speaker. I've always considered bose car audio stuff to be way above factory equipment, but not as good as high end aftermarket equipment. When it comes down to it, a bose speaker designed for car audio is just that. A speaker. There are no ported and tuned enclosures to enhance the speaker's performance, just an amp that's been taylored to the speaker, which can help.

Would I replace bose factory speakers if they came in my vehicle? Probably not, unless I was going to compete in SQ.

Would I buy them instead of other aftermarket brands? No.

This wasn't meant to put down anyone with bose, or anyone who loves bose stuff. They make a quality product. This is just the impression their automotive products have left on me over the years. :)
