Off Road Lights ?

Post by Cajun »

I would like to add a pair of 6" 100 watt Pro Comp off road lights and a pair of fog lights to the front of my CC. At what point of adding accessories will I need a larger alternator? Thanks for the help.

I feel this would be best answered by our resident expert.
Mr HenryJ. :D

but...I don't see adding two off road lights would call for an alternator upgrade....or alteast I hope not, because then I'm gonna need one too.

If thats the only extra thing you have added, then most definatly no, i don't think you need a bigger alternator

I have a pair of 150 watt KC Daylighters mounted on my pushbar, and don't see the need for an alternator upgrade. I'm considering adding a roofrack with a set of 4 150w Daylighters to the roof, in which I'll probably need to beef up the alternator then. You should be just fine with two.
