Is that with the stock speakers or did you ditch all the factory equipment.

Thanks man, you got my wheels turning again. I wasn't going to touch the stereo ( I pretty much only listen to country music, so I the stock would be fine). Maybe now I might get an aftermarket unit and may take it a step further with all new speakers. I don't listen to music loud all the time like some but I like the music to be clear sounding.

Man this is getting addictive. This is a good idea for christmas.

While I'm not a fan of country music, I must admit that even country sounds a lot better on a "good" sound system.

You don't realize how much of the music your missing until you hear it on a system capable of accurately reproducing the entire range of sound. 8)

I wasn't going to change mine from stock but I am considering getting a better head unit and all the speakers changed. Any suggestions? I don't want subs or any of that crap just speakers that I can put in place of the factory (even the ones on the dash), and I would also like to not have to rewire anything.

Country_Guy, go to Crutchfield and enter your vehicle information.

They will show you what fits your CC and they include all necessary wiring harnesses for FREE so everything is just plug & play. :thumb:

Their prices are also very hard to beat and they have great customer service.

I have a blazer so mine was in there. I think (correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the crew cab have the same speakers as the blazer - same size same location). Also like I said I don't want to throw a ton into it. I rarely and I do mean rarely, do I crank it up most of the day till noon I am listening to the hog and cattle report (farm report) then around lunch I throw on the yeehaw till sundown (when I get home).

I tried it and it listed Crew Cab under the body option.

Try again using 2002 or newer.

For some reason they don't know the crew cabs existed in 2001. :?
