sub boxes

does anyone make sub boxes? i want to get or make one for two shallow mount subwoffers. i dont know how to figure out the air space needed. it says "Vas: 0.69 cu. ft. " so if anyone could help me or if anyone builds boxes please help.

What size subs? That volume air space sounds about right for a sealed box for one sub. You'll want about 1.4 cf of air space for both. You'll have to take into account the width of the MDF board and the amount of space the subs will take up also.

If you plan to do this yourself, you'll need a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" MDF and a set of good plans. If your subs aren't to powerful, then you can go with some thinner MDF but not by much.

There's several calculators out there online I believe. Just search on Google for "sub box volume calculator"

on this site http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=5 the bottom calculations, you put your box size in and the Box volume is the "Vas"
