plow light install trouble still

Post by bradjh »

I still cannot figure out wiring for my plow lights, I have added a relay and I ran a 5 way flat trailer harness to carry turn signal marker a ground the power for the lights i was driving it last time it snowed on a very bumpy road and when i got to my buddies house the plow lights would not work and the relay was buzzing.. I have it all grounded to the battery i still get turn signal and marker on plow lights no head lights. relay is triggered by marker, tried replacing relay and still nothing I double and triple checked all connections everything is good any idea??

Try one relay for each light. That will split the load if you are drawing more than the relay can handle.
Make sure you have the correct wire size used: WIRE GAUGE SELECTION TABLE
Solder and heat shrink ALL connections. Use Dielectric silicone on each terminal.
