Henry J's spare AD 244

Post by S10Wheels »

I finally got around to putting on your spare AD 244 130a, it went on like it's supposed to (no problems) and works fine, not like the aftermarket I had on it that would flicker the dash light even though I put a new reg in it! It will be my spare now, and yours will live on the truck. I agree, STICK WITH A REAL DELCO! --- Thanks!!!"
I'm getting ready to change the throttle blade & clean the throttle body as soon as I can get the cables off without distroying them. I'll send an update.

Great to hear it lives on in your truck. That thing was awesome and out performed all that I tested.

I am currently running the DR44G that you sent me. It seems to be doing fine. Mine developed a tick and I had new bearings and brushes installed. I'll probably swap back soon and keep this one as my spare again.
