Light wire

Post by Warnoffroad »

Ive been looking at spots to run the wire for my new lights on my roof. The only thing i can think of thats really good is running it to the back of the roof rack and then into the rear door. Then feed the wire down in the rubber weather stripping. I was thinking about going in the roof. Im wondering when you pull the head liner down, whats after that? Also what would you guys use to plug up the hole? silicone or a rubber gromet?

i have heard people say that they run the wire along the top of the inside windsheild and then under the roof console and put a hole there to go to the lights

Can you run it in under the 3rd brake light? Maybe there's already a hole for the wiring for it, or you could drill one under it and conceal it with the light. I was just brainstorming...

I saw someone on ZR2.com had some wires running down the back of the Cab and under the truck...anyone seen that...I will try to find that pic.
