Pulling the bearing from the housing is the difficult part. I have a three jaw slide hammer that I use to remove them. Even then some times I end up cutting them out with a torch and or grinder.
Not a terrible job to do and if you're lucky the will pull out just fine.

Installing them is the easy part.

Be prepared. The bearing rides on the axle. If it is pitted , replacement of the axle may be needed. There are offset bearings that can be used, but I have not used them.

I used a flathead screwdriver and tapped it in between the axle tube and the outside of the bearing sleeve. This deformed it and made it easy to just pull them out.

2001 chevy blazer rear wheel bearing removal you have to drain the differential
take off the cover remove pinion shaft locking bolt have it in gear
than put it in neutral and turn axle til the face open is looking straight at you
than remove pinion shaft than have someone push in on the axle while you
remove the c clip holding the axle once c clip is off slide axle out
than you can remove the seal/bearing reverse for installation
dont forget to get a new gasket for diff cover and new bearing and seal
and add gear oil to diff

Exactly. Its not really hard...its time consuming really. You will also have to remove the wheel, brake pads, caliper, caliper bracket.

An internal 3 jaw puller with a slide hammer and a bearing race/seal installer will make the job much easier. To prevent leaks where the seal is pressed into the axle tube, lightly coat the outside of the new seal with some automotive silicone before pressing it in. Make sure you clean the differential cross pin bolt and put some blue threadlocker on it before reinstalling it. Be careful when you slide the axle back through the new seal so that you dont tear it. If you do, it will leak, and you will have to start over again.
