Charcoal canister tray help!

Post by gfernatt »

Need some help locating locating a charcoal canister tray for my 01 Crewcab. Local Chevy dealer said he didn't see a part number, and it would probably be out of production anyway.

Found a couple of units (canister and tray)on Ebay from s10 Warehouse, but they were for non crew cab 4cyl.

Gmparts direct. List the canister for $91.00 for the 4.3l CC. (I wonder if the tray comes together with the canister - under the same part number?)

Eleven years of WV winters has rusted the tray in two. Vapor emission system is working fine just need the mounting tray. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks GS Fernatt

www.compnine.com has parts diagrams, and VIN decoders. A very useful site.

Reed, one thing I like is the VIN decoder. Input your vin # and get areadout of your options, and it gave me acomplete list of RPO codes at the end on my list. The parts lookup doesn't hurt to have either.
