Front hub assembly bad?

Post by PATRICKH »

Got a hell of a vibration from from driver side, it starts at about 50 mph and does not click when I make turns. The steering feels stiff. But, when I jacked it up to check for any play in the front wheel, it was tight, no play whatsoever. I tried to spin the tire, but it stopped as soon as I let go of it.

Think its the bearing or do I need to look at something else?

Try taking the caliper off and checking the bearings. Is it smooth and free? Any play at all?
