Rear Pinion Oil Seal

Post by TheBigFitz »

Has anybody had problems with the pinion oil seal leaking on the rear axle? My truck has 56,000 miles on it and is about to have it replaced for the second time now. The first time it happened everything was still stock, I am not convinced bigger tires or an add-a-leaf would have anything to do with why it is leaking a second time.

No, no vibration other than the AT's. I will mention both suggestions when I take it in Wednesday to get fixed though, don't want to have to go through this every year.
