Opinions On BFG At's VS Mt's

Post by gocntry »

I'm Going Out to Costco Tomorrow To Order Some New Tires.

I Just Wondered If Anybody Has Any Opinions On The BF Goodrich All-Terrain VS The Mud Terrain??

My Truck Is A 2003 And Only Has 35,600 Miles On It So I'm Not Really Worried About The Milage Warranty

The Noise Difference Really Makes No Difference Either.

I Was Thinking The MT's For The Coolness Factor

The Traction Difference Would Probably Go To The AT's Though

The Price Difference Is $31.00 Per Tire And I'll Be Getting A Set Of 5.

I second that, if not for true offroad use than just for the sick look alone!

If you go for the MT's you're gonna have very little traction on ice ;)

If you don't get much ice, then you don't have to worry about it :D

Good point!

My MT/R's are the same way.

Great in the mud and on the rocks, but scary on ice. :yikes:

They'll also whoop arse in the deep snow...

But for shallow snow... like 4" and less, they're not so great

It Looks Like The All Terrain Would Be The Better Choice For My Area.

So I Ran Up To Costco Saturday To Order A Set And Of Course With My Luck They Were On A Manufacturers Back Order, They Told Me To Wait About 30 Days And They Would Try Again :(

So Now I Patiently Wait.......
