Another year another ball joint

Post by 04crewvt »

Well annual inspection is due for the crew this month so I took it in yesterday. They found the right lower ball joint was shot (again) 2nd time it's been replaced since I have had the truck and I still only have 70K on it. Going to spend the extra this time and see if the MOOG's will survive better. I guess crossing a rough railroad crossing twice a day when going to work and the slightly stiffened front suspension must be causing the cheap ones to fail.

MOOG or PPM are the best choice!

PPM is all I run. I had my first set in my old Blazer and they are still good after 200,000 miles. It now has 280,000 on the clock. I have them in my crew now and have about 40,000 on them and still going.

MOOG joint in, inspection done, good till the next one goes which will be spring more than likely as the drivers side is just in spec now.
