Steering Stabilizers for S10s

Post by ApproachMedium »

Who makes them and where can I find them? If i search it on Summit Racing they only show one Monroe model, and the compatibility chart only gives me for the first gen trucks and the ZR5 crew (not that much should be different there from mine) Any suggestions of brands etc? I know there is a small bracket on the crossmember under the forward part of the engine that looks like it accepts one. Just wondering if anyone else has installed one and what they think.

I installed a center link from a Blazer that had the hole in it for the stock stabilizer. Then just used that stabilizer. Others have used the Rancho aftermarket one with the U-bolt clamps.

I've been running the aftermarket rancho one. If you go on advance auto parts website they don't list it for the newer trucks, look under a 95 s10 4x4.

Interesting, thanks for the info! And it bolts right on to the 2000 model year series?

Oh nice! I really need to do this. After taking a back way entrance tonight in to the yard at work it was very apparent that this would help. The back way is pretty much whatevers left from the snow with dirt/mud whatever under it.

Got mine at LMC Trucks 5-6 years ago and it still works great. It is the type that U-bolts on the linkage but , have been satisfied since install.
