What condition are the old flares in and are they for sale?

With the cut out fenders?

I'm just curious because some have had problems with the cut out flares. Mine are holding up OK, but a alternate option would be nice.

Nope Unfortunately I Can't Help With Any Other Option, I Was Thinking....
HenryJ wrote:you could almost go without the flares. A little spray on bedliner from the bodyline down and it would look just fine.
I Have A Set Of The Flares, But I Want To Try The Bedliner Look First. Only Problem Is How Far The Tires Stick Out From The Fender, I'll Look Into Virginia Law, (Quickbiker Have You Done The Research On That Law Yet?). I Have 3 Different Sets Of Wheels With Different Backspacing Too. Factory Set @ 6", 1 Set @ 4.5", And 1 Set @ 3.75" So I'll See What Seems To Fit And Work Best For My Truck.

if you're going without flares, you'll definitely want the bedliner on there. otherwise your paint is going to look sandblasted from the combination of wider/more aggressive tires and all the road debris those tires are going to throw at it.

when i had mine done, i went with Herculiner and wasn't impressed with how it held up. it faded and thinned out within a year. i would suggest (although more expensive than Herculiner) going with line-x or rhino lining. the roll on protection like Herculiner just doesn't seem to stand up to conditions as well as the sprayed on liners do.

good luck on the road you're headed down. keep us all posted (even us non s-10 members  ) on your progress. AND POST PICS!!!!!! :D

My truck never came with fender flares. I bought it used so maybe the previous owner had them taken off.

Unless you have the ZR5 package, you wont have them
