No picture. I am sure you can find plenty with a little looking.

Our friend is getting cranky but, it is understandable.

Guide to searching. Some of the forum software is different but, it has helped me a lot.

Forget about the swirl since it does nothing anyway.

You are better off using a smooth straight bore or slightly tapered smooth bore for increased velocity.

IMHO, Powerdyne currently has the best TB spacer design.

TB Spacers are ineffective for the second generation fuel injection systems. Reason being the the fuel is injected directly into the intake ports in the head, not like TBI and carbureted engines that mix the fuel in the body of the intake manifold just below the TBI/Carb. So adding additional height increases the both the volume and velocity of the air/fuel charge making for a better mix. This will increase your HP.

But since the 1996-Current 4.3 uses a MPFI with the injectors spraying directly into the intake runner of the head you don't get the same effect. You would get better results with "gasket matching" porting but that requires removing metal to match the head and intake runners to smooth out the path to the intake valve.

They are way overpriced for what you get, but they do make a little more power and help increase gas mileage.

Dyno charts don't lie.

A tapered bore like the Powerdyne TB spacer is the best design since it increases intake velocity and manifold volume.

OK, but does it "whistle"???

Has there been any dyno testing on these engines to prove this?
Seems like there would be a way to tell for sure.

The Powerdyne TB spacer does not whistle, and I still think it is the best TB spacer available, but it is also still way overpriced.

Expect a 3-5 hp gain and maybe 1 extra mpg which is exactly why I think these spacers should only be like $20 to $30 instead of $100. :yikes:

If it got you an extra mile for every gallon, it would pay for itself fairly quick considering how expensive gas is.

But, since there's no clear scientific evidence that I can find where these things are beneficial for direct fuel injected vehicles...I'm gonna pass on this.
