crew cab with what appears to be aftermarket ZR2 flares ????

Post by knaffie »

They are definitely not factory flares. They are held on by sheet metal screw in the wheel well. They are at least as wide as ZR2 flares, if not wider.

Anybody know what these are? :?:

I personally think they look like crap on these truck, but they could definitely enhance the looks of the right truck.

I dunno, everyone has their preferences. I always liked the color "BRG" (British Racing Green) and hated yellow

If, I had an all time favorite it would be this color! I had it on a 1st Gen Eclipse/Talon/Laser!

Brule, those are nice looking tires on the HenryJ. What size and brand are they?

They were Bushwacker - but discontinued sometime round 2004 I think. What's really bad is you know there's some 4x4 or auto customizer shop out there with a set on the shelf saying - "I wish there were someone who would take these things of my hands for cost. They'll never sell!!!"

Subject: discontinued products

Is there any chance you have any remaining stock for the extended fender flares that you used to produce for the 2nd gen, 4-door S-series Chevy Blazer/ GMC Jimmy? I'd love to get a set, no one on the market makes a flare that looked that good, or fit that well.

Is there anywhere you could point me to finding a set, maybe a liquidator that bought all remaining stock possibly? OR if enough people could be rounded up for a group buy, and the molds still exist, is there a possiblity for a short limited run?

Thanks,
Chris Patterson.

Well George - believe it or not - I found a place online that appears to have them in stock:

http://www.4wheelonline.com/Products.as ... ctId=13928

bushwacker Part# appears to be 41905-11

Price is steep, but same as all the other Extend-a-flares.

Got to have some flares after I do my BL. After reading this post, went to Bushwacker site to check them out. Says they have extend-a-flares for up thru '03. Mines '04 and figure they'll work. But you guys talk having to cut them to make them fit. Been hunting for some ZR5 flares but these look a bit wider but don't know if I want to have to do a hack job on them to makem work. What's the poop on the Wackers?

We have an Isuzu bed. The fender bulge is why you must modify them.
They don't make Isuzu flares for the post '96 Hombre.
