Which Aerostar Mechanical Fan???

Post by Rockrz »

I know someone who doesn't want to go with electric fans, but doesn't like the OE Chevy S10 fan either.

So, I was going to suggest something I head of once which is using a mechanic fan and fan clutch from a Ford Aerostar...but I can't seem to find the info that I saw so I can find out exactly what year should be used.

If I knew what year, I could tell the guy to go to a Ford dealer and buy the fan itself and then buy a good quality fan clutch at one of the local parts houses.

Anybody know?

It is an Explorer fan you seek.

I found the page4 about this at
http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Parts_ ... r-134.html

That's a decent price on the heavy duty radiator.
Any idea what brand it is?
