Roll Pan

Post by Jerms »

Has anyone replaced their bumper with a roll pan? Was looking for some finished pics of what it looks like on the CC.

And if there were any drawbacks or helpful info someone has to share I could soak that up too. :D

Would like to know as well. I would also be installing a hidden hitch along with mine.

There are many many pics of rollpans on s10's to get an idea, if you can find one on a CC post it! Steel or fiberglass are the choices, fiberglass usually bolts on and some steel do also but a welded up steel roll pan, tho more work, looks waaaay better!

also think about boxing in the rear of the frame or a bumper of somesort behind the pan. Im not sure about the laws there but dont be suprised to see blue lights. I got rearended, called the police, and got a ticket for no bumper.. :x nice.

I think you will have to try another forum. There is no one here running one on a crew cab that I know of.

Given a choice I would choose a bolt in steel roll pan with a license plate recess. Hinge the plate and add a hidden hitch behind it.
I have done that to fullsize in the past and it turned out really nice.
