some of the 4x4 emblems on the new silverado...like so.

i think it would make a nice offset, with the silvery Anthracite of the fender flares, and the black bumpers..and my soon to be black wheels...

anybody have any experience with these eBay bedside vinyls? do they look cheap, or could they pass for legit GM replicas? just looking to make my zr5 stand out a little..

We had a member who added 4x4 decals to his truck a very long time ago. It might have been Mark's truck?
I have Ebay decals on my Avalanche:

looks to be a pretty nice quality vinyl...is it all a digital print, as in being one layer, with the white border? or is it layered?

and i'm not too crazy for wanting to get rid of the zr5 decal, on a red truck am i? i know the red Z is a brighter shade than the victory red, but it still blends a little too much to me...

You are not crazy. That being said, consider the source. I changed mine :)
I don't know the details. 5 years is reported to be the vinyl quality. You can find more details on mine here: Weston Signs Inc.
You might find some you like too?

alot to choose from, but I still think I like the original ones i posted, they are fairly simple, and don't stand out too much.

Not crazy, but I'd worry about the sun aged paint vs still fresh hidden paint behind the decal.

truck was garage kept before i bought it, it doesn't have much sun damage on the paint, if any...already debadged the LS emblems off of the C-Pillars, and the paint matched perfectly. Truck was insanely clean, the argent/anthracite whatever color the grilles come stock, isn't the least bit hurt, the dash is still nice and soft to the touch, no fading or cracking on it. just need to get the motivation to do something sooner than later, since all my garage space is taken up by the 98 now, and the crewcab has to sit out in the elements.
