Aftermarket flares

Post by LoneWolf04 »

I will end up emailing superlift directly about this, but does anyone know where the flares came from on the crew they have pictured on their 6" lift kit? Figured since this is the crew headquarters someone might know, because I'm sure contacting superlift will likely be like talking to a brick wall.

Those are a pocket style flare. The only set of those I know that was made was one of our members here. KCustom made a one off set. That's probably KCustom's truck. Superlift used his truck as a testbed for the prototype 6" S-10 lift. He molded his own flares, and almost started selling them. I've seen his truck photochopped into at least half a dozen different colors. His flares were basically one of a kind that we dropped the ball on by not buying the molds once he had a child and bailed out of the modding business.

Makin' Room....(KCustom's flares)

1997 Ford F-150 Bushwacker pocket flares still might be an option, but no one has ever tried it :)
