Wanting a ZR5 rim as a spare. and Black Powder Coating?

Post by fallvitals »

I am wanting to pick up a zr5 rim for my spare tire, and when rotate tires, use my spare in the rotation.

I can only manage to find one on ebay for $150 o_0 Is there any better prices/places to get one from?

Also, I was thinking my ZR5 rims might look retty nice powder coated black. I really dont know much about it other then how its applied. Any tips/info on that? Is it even worth doing?

http://car-part.com/ That is where I found mine. There are lots of them now.

Nice site. If im looking at the right one, no image was shown (4X4, 15x7, alm, opt N90, Chev, opt ZR5 -, sound right?), (and im rushed for work) they range from 150-100. 100 wont be too bad.. I was hoping $75, lol.

Any opinions on black powder coating these rims?

Oh, Brule, I got the templates today, big thank you.
