Did you recalibrate the speedometer to compensate for the taller tire? You may be as much as 10% off.
Are you using 10% ethanol? That will lose another 10% too.

you probably need recalibrated. my stock 235/75/15s were 1.5mph slow.

with my 33s now, and it sucks that was soon as i got em one, the last straight gas, gas station here went to ethonal, i went from 15city/20highway to 13.9city/17.5highway. And I think its becuase of the ethonal. math seems right for it.

I've done nothing but short run around local since going 30's. I got calibrated right away and my average is 17.2 - 17.9 at mostly 45 mph on cruise. 8)

What gears are you running? What were MPGs before 30s. I'm wanting to move up to 30s and would like to have an idea what to expect.

Right now as far as I can tell I'm getting 15-16 combined driving. This with 235-75-15s and 3.73 gears. I really don't think that is too bad given the weight of our trucks and being 4x4. Don't get me wrong I will try like 773H to bring that up as much as I can. :)

Before the 30's I was running 275/60 Cooper Cobra GT's, their weight was only 31 lbs. These Hankook Dynapro ATm RF10's weigh 40 lbs. I was running 19 mpg local and 23-24 mpg hiway. I always run cruise control anytime 45mph or above. My CC is running on 373 gears also. 8)

Cool. 8) 8)
Now we know these trucks can get decent MPGs. I was getting worried that MPGs would be worse than the 5.4 ext.cab F/S 2wd drof my crew is replacing. Funny thing is my kids say the crews rear seat is more comfortable than the drof. And I know the front seats are far superior.
