driving up to ohio

Post by riceburnr2005 »

going on a road trip today. driving the crew from here in NC all the way up to Cleveland. takes me usually just under 12 hours but ive never drove the crew long distance yet. hopefully itll be ok!! also i hear there is a snow storm up there right now, another first for the crew. just did all the normal maintenance: changed oil, spark plugs, wires, cap, fuel filter, pcv valve, descreened maf, cleaned TB, brake pads, calipers, rotors, rear transfer case seal, pinion seal, new tires, also installed a new Reese hitch on the back and a bull bar on the front... and also threw in a new kenwood cd player and jvc 6 1/2's all the way around. did all this within the last week. so yea wish me luck!!

I lived just south of Cleveland for several years as a youth. Give the Highway Patrol a large berth! They stopped me, at 57 mph in a 55 mph zone, while I was in a marked unit and asked me it, I was responding to a call. You are good for 6-9 over in KY

made it to ohio ok, but my steering and throttle feel really stiff for some resason. other than that a pretty smooth trip, flew past an Ohio highway patrol car at 15 over but he didnt come after me. I wrote down all my mileage numbers so im gonna work out the mpg numbers later.

That would count as using up one of a cat's nine lifes. Don't count on that happening 2Xs.
