Removing Small Door Dings?

Post by nebby58 »

The high school parking lot has taken a toll on my truck. I was just wondering if anyone has a fix for door dings? Also, what would a shop charge to take out a few?

Call the local "Dent King". They come to your truck and charge somewhere around $5 per ding up to a certain number. You can get lots done for about $50. You area may vary.
I have a friend from High school days that runs a Dent King franchise. He has four or five guys working with him and a regular route servicing the dealers in the valley. Pretty good business.

There are some Youtube videos on using a hair dryer and canned air or dry ice too. The process is shrinking the metal.

Yeah, I tried the air can trick. I even tried the Pops a dent. That price seems pretty reasonable.
