I have not experienced any such problem but, I do recall some discussion previously about the trim where the door meets the window being oversized. This may or may not be related to your problem but, I recall this trim was said to be fairly easily trimmed.

I remember reading the fix some where...I'll have to check the Techline articles to see if I can find it.

The usual answer is to either lubricate, insulate, or isolate.

The furry side of self adhesive velcro cut into thin strips works pretty well for the insulate / isolate trick.

It was in the manual-

Important

Squeaks and rattles are caused by improperly controlled relative motion between vehicle components. There are 4 ways to prevent squeaks and rattles.

#Attach the component that squeaks or rattles securely.
# Separate the components that squeak or rattle to prevent contact.
# Insulate the components that squeak or rattle.
# Insulate low uniform friction surfaces to eliminate stickslip motion.

Interior Trim - Itching Noise , The trim panel contacts the window.
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the garnish molding.
3. Trim 2-3 mm (0.08-0.12 in) from the garnish molding for clearance.
4. Reinstall the garnish molding.

The door lock pillar molding rubs on the door trim panel. Fix=Apply low friction tape (GM P/N 22586239 or equivalent) to the door lock pillar molding.

The rear edge of the window garnish molding rattles. Fix=Insulate the inside of the window garnish molding with foam tape.

Rattle Noise at Latch , Misalignment of striker to latch.
1. Look for witness marks on the locking cam.
2. Remove/install washers to the striker.
3. Align the striker to latch.

The inner door panel rattles. Fix=Shim the inner and the outer door panels with foam tape in the center of the door.

The stepwell tread pad is rubbing against the bottom of the door. Fix=Refit the stepwell lip.

And welcome to the forum :D

Oh, I'm sure the dealer will be more than happy to work on that for you...at around $100 per hour with a 2 hour minimum! :o

Good article as it provides some good ideas for this...
