About to throw out bedliner, quick question?

Post by Tony »

All CC's got the bed liners stock right? If the answer is yes than it's going to the curb.

Drop in bed liners scratch the hell out of beds.

So the consensus is they're stock equipment?

Yep, they came stock. Mine hit the junk yard about two months after I bought the truck and was replaced with Line-X.

Who cares what the bed looks like under the bed liner ?? I like knowing I can throw most anything back there and not have to listen to it banging around against metal. It also washes out real easy and complete.

It's not because of what it looks like, but rather making the bed last. Within two months of having my truck, which was purchased brand new, I found that the liner had already worn through the paint and had the sheet metal exposed. Couple the exposed metal with the moisture that gets trapped under the plastic liner, and the bed wouldn't have lasted very long. With the spray-in Line-X liner, the moisture & paint wearing issues are gone, and I can throw anything I want in the bed without worrying about damaging it.

Any one interested in the stock plastic bed liner? I'm going to dispose of it if no one wants it...
