Best sparkin irons???

Post by Rockrz »

Anybody ever try the Bosch Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plugs (Iridium spark plugs)

I found 'em at http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku

The write up says....

Better than OE Iridium spark plugs.
If you're looking for the very latest in spark plug technology, look no further than Bosch Platinum Ir Fusion (TM). Fusion features a patented, fused iridium and platinum center electrode, combined with exclusive surface air gap firing technology to produce a longer, more powerful spark. Its four yttrium-enhanced ground electrode design outperforms OE iridium plugs by significantly reducing gap wear. This means less stress on the ignition system for quicker starts, more efficient fuel combustion, and a longer performance life. In addition, Fusion's voltage requirement increases less over time versus other iridium plugs for longer reliable performance of the vehicle's ignition system.

Check out the spark plug thread. A search for iridium will find it.
Autolite XP is a great design and half that price. That is what I run.
Lots of testing has been done in that thread.

I search using the term "spark plugs" but it didn't show the thread you just posted.

But, at any rate I now know where the spark plug thread is so I'll read through that before making any decisions on sparkin irons.

Yep, I found it earlier after you posted those links.

I was just saying that initially, the search for the term "spark plugs" didn't return any relevant results for some reason Image
