They are more capable than they appear. Reviews score them high for offroad performance in comparison to comparable vehicles.

First chance you get find some shields. That cast aluminum oil pan worried the heck out of me.

When you get home, park a water sprinkler under your CC. Move it around 2-3 times to make clean up a little easier.

Accutally i just took it to the car wash and wasted $6 washing the under carrage. Any way....

Update:
took it down to the local trail, it wasnt very muddy but me n corey still hit the mud holes. I only bottomed it out 1 n it wasnt bad. all in all i had a hella lot of fun since it was my first time!

It is all part of a preflight wheelin' checklist. Charge batteries! You will get the hang of it in another trip or two.

I had the same question, i think even the same wording, lol, when i found this forum a few weeks ago after getting my Crew Cab.

Good info here. Glad you had a good time. I can't wait to take mine offroad, but i want to take it on some easy areas first since I have never offroaded, except twice as a passnager with a friend. I don't plan into getting hardcore into with, with body lifts, 33" tires, but I do want the shields! And maybe a good diff cover.

These are great trucks off road. Mine is stock and it sure surprised me my first time out. I didnt want to break anything either its my daily driver and it held up great. I even pulled out a friend in a lifted jeep. Ill put up some pics of mine when i have some time to resize them.

These pics are from two different outings. Not as impressive as F9K9 but just as fun... untill I had to wash it.

Mud will break you pretty quickly. I avoid it like the plague now. :D

Every time I get muddy I say Ill never do it again, but it pretty flat around here so mud is the about the only option for using 4x4. This time I got lucky and got my school to let me use the wash bay to clean it up.

Where's "around here"? You may be surprised.

Kansas is the flat around here. I know theres a couple parks. Mud just seems to always be more convenient.

I was kinda.....sort of......hinting that you fill out your profile. You never know who may be close by to assist you.
