Towing ?

Post by Timfd024 »

I am seriously considering purchasing a s series cc but before i make the purchase i would like to here some facts about yall's towing exeriences with the cc. Also, I would like to know if it is a good idea tow my 2800lb track car s2000 on a lightweight trailer or if i should stick with a full size. Thanks for future input.

With the right gearing and some extra spring on the back they do ok. Most that have towed with them much opt to go fullsize in the end, myself included. The mileage will be about the same or better and the power greater.
Pulling 2000+ at altitude will test your patience and the trucks will. The braking system is rated for a 5000# pull. With a few mods like a cooler, exhaust and some rear suspension help, it can pull the load. A fullsize will do it easier though.
