Another new member!

Post by LMs10CrewCab »

Hello!

I am new to here, my name is Levi, I am 19! And still learning all about my truck!

I have a 2001 s10 crew cab!
Just go it for $4200, think I got a good deal !

Everyone on here is very helpful, and I appreciate the help so far.

I hope to soon have the following:

2" body lift, torsion bar adjustment, leaf springs, new shocks, 30" to 31" tires on crager soft 8's, might go chrome :) safari rack, spare tire on top, shoveles and axes on the side of rack, bed extender, line x the rockers-10" up the door, and cowl hood! - all I need is some money - anybody want to give me some?

Well... At least I asked :)

Thanks for all the help so far!

Yes welcome, I'm fairly new myself. This is a great site and you'll find lots of info. Good luck with your mods.

Welcome to the site! Look forward to seeing the progress on your truck as you do get the money to add your mods. :) You will love it. I have had mine since 2009, bought it thinking I was going to hate it but I love it.

It has 132000 miles, just changed the thermostat, air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor, I was getting 10mpg, might have been from the gas additives due to Wisconsin winter! I am going to replace the oxygen and coolent sensors soon.
I will post pics later - it can be hard using my iPod :)
It is in my favorite color - Victory Red!

I can see them but appears to be a mobile site so everything is small. But I can see it.

Another brother in Victory! (red that is) Check out my ride in the Readers Ride section its got some of the mods you listed. The body lift was easy, the tires are just money (I know that's hard to come by) and intake was well worth it.

Just don't name it Ol' Red. :x That ones taken

I will try to post my builds when they come :)
BTW - F9K9 has the nicest CC around! I want to make it like yours, hope you don't mind :)
( just with 30" ) do you think a safari rack will look good with 30"?
I'm hoping my truck looks high enough.

Thanks alot for all the welcomes!

Look at this. Click some links. Do some reading.

I am really enjoying mine with tbars turned up, Boise Springworks kit, 15x8 with 5 inch backspacing wheels, 31x10.5 tires, bilstein shocks, poly sway bar bushings, full size bumpstops on the front. I also replaced balljoints, idler and pitman arms, and fixed a cv boot that was slinging grease, all from the tbar crank, but all worth it. Fenders are trimmed slightly too. I've got poly control arm bushings waiting to go in too.
